Breaking The Barrier

Every year on Easter Olin and I go up to Lynn’s Moms house (Granny) for an Easter egg hunt. Now don’t let the words “Egg Hunt” throw you off. This Egg hunt is not only for little kids but for big kids as well. Granny spends tons and tons of money getting candy, jerky, chips, ECT. She also hides at least 100 eggs. Now these are not your typical Easter eggs. These eggs contain numbers and with these numbers corresponds a prize. But everyone is trying to find the GOLDEN EGG because this is the prize we are all hoping to find. This Egg will get you a one of a kind homemade, hand sewn blanket, made by Granny. I was so excited; I knew that this was my year to win the blanket. When they said we could go I ran so fast that I ran right over the golden egg, I never even saw it! Now that’s what I call breaking the barrier. My niece was the one who found the golden egg! Oh well better luck next time. As you can see by the pictures even though we did not find the golden egg we come out on top. We got tons of prizes and look closely at the garbage bag that Olin is holding… Yep you’re right it’s full of candy!!
